i don't think sean penn can get the oscar award because of this performance. i don't feel any spectacular stuff in the film except who the killers are. it seems dave's dead is a bit deserved.

基會難德
not watching tv for openin' celebration of hk disneyland and the day of terroists attack. it's quite full. the position for mid-price seats are not very good. the layout of perform is simple. very good performance from them, their musicians, and the younger bro's wife (much better than originals - even good to sing how deep is your love). it's sad to know their son was dead just after born. i think it's much for christainity stuff.
P.S. they don't have much luck on their business. it's a bit pity.

recent favourites
jem - they (lyrics)
very simple song (a bit like big big world). & her video is hot (she's hot on tv too, like the o.c. & grey's anatomy)
james blunt - you're beautiful (lyrics)
special tune to sing. his video is a bit military feel. (his family has a serving history from middle age. he used to serve in kosovo). the lyrics says the thing common in this world.
daniel powter - bad day (lyrics)
attractive song. especially the video. starred with samaire armstrong (the best female teen in the o.c. in 1st season - finally shown in hk after 2 years in the us). when can i leave my bad days?

Interview @ Actix
i wasted the chance provided by the agency. 1/2 because of my poor preparation. another is i didn't expect the way he asked.
two people interviewed me. first is engineering director, a brit. another is technical sales manager, a chin.
first they asked about how much i know the company. then about the job (1st mistake i made, i forgot what was written on the job ad). then he talked a lot on the company (used to operate the office in singapore but now in hk) and the job description. after that they asked a lot on what i have done in former company and the projects at the school (i should know they will focus on my java project as this is a software company even the job needs not to write any programs). and also they asked a bit on radio engineering (i also forgot some even studied before getting into their office).
after background stuff, they asked how to handle a client if they cannot go to their portal. ah... i don't have this kind of experience. and finally they asked my mandarin ability (because taiwanese like to speak mandarin more but luckily mainland china is in separate operation region). i can listen but i cannot speak. they asked me whether anything missed but i don't know what they want me to tell...
it's around 30 min and then i found dicky to have lunch.

new stuff from apple comp inc.
many things comin' out from apple last night. they include ipod nano with ipod updater (only updated database for nano), quicktime 7 for win, itunes 5, and itunes phone by motorola.
ipod nano: one word, cool! if it had come out earlier, i would buy it instead of shuffle. the only drawback is it needs a cable to connect to the computer. it's now sold in hong kong apple online store (with cases by apple for the first time).
quicktime 7 for win & itunes 5: quicktime 7 finally comes to windows environment. itunes 5 tunes a bit on shuffle and is with parental control. they are bundled into one setup file as usual with chinese traditional interface already (no need to wait taiwan apple to build another chinese version quicktime or itunes!).
itunes phone (rokr): jobs said this is a replacement for shuffle. no way please. it sucks. shuffle is much lighter and simpler. rokr is waited too long time to come out while other competitors have already got the market. and it just introduced the itunes layout but not with the click wheel! i think a better itunes phone should be in v3 layout (good design as well as click wheel) or e680 layout (so it can fight against 02). btw, it will be sold in hk soon as the site said. but itunes is not a magic if here doesn't have the itunes music store! that is an important key to win the other competitors.
(edit on Nov 10, 2005: finally motorola faces the truth rokr sucks and implies itunes into v3, v3i)

Interview @ Elan CountryTECH Selection
1st receptionist gave me a cup of water and a form to fill in. the form is in very detail. like how eager to find a job; waht things you are better than other mates... after 20 minutes, the responsible person came. she weighs some stones and jsut asked me just fresh graduate. ah, my spoken english is worse than yesterday. she asked me to lower my salary requirement for the job of system support (contract) of a computer company, but i stand my point. it has 1&1/2 days off after 4 days shift work... i'm a bit hesitated since it's a bit far from what i have learnt. i'm not sure she would give my profile to the employer but she put my data into their database.

Interview @ Human Resources Solution Limited
one of the partners and her assistant interviewed me. both of them don't know about radio engineering but her assistant (chemical engineering) asked her friend that i should know some for my graduation (actually i know!). the partner said they normally search for managemental positions but this client (cannot tell me) trusts them.
at first she (japanese) used english (no japanese accent) for the whole conversation. but later she told me she knew cantonese (very good). she said i need to smile which can break the ice. i said my skin problem may affect my hunting but she said this is not a matter and introduced me a chinese medical doctor (but i need to use lipstick).
now i need to search my dusty notes and get back my memory from the deep sea!
P.S. the client is actix (software maker for mobile network monitoring). they said if i can maintain my performance and well prepared (the engineering director will interview me), the chance is not small.

Interview @ Ansen Electronics Co
too late i left home so i needed to pay the minimum taxi fare to the building where company occupied. but miss hr forgot me after giving me the form and made me wait over an hour. the interviewer was also busy on meetings.
but the reall stuff is i'm not prepared. i forgot all stuff learnt in cityu when he asked. i even forgot what products they are making which i should study thru the web. and he figured me not really like the field when i changed my assocaite to bachelor from computer to electronic. and he also showed me that i don't even find my way to build up my career. engineering (r&d, testing...), project handling (the job i applied), sales and customer service...

Interview @ Manson Engineering Industrial Limited
it's extermely near to my home. the hk office i think is small such as there is no receptionist and the doors are wooden. without the luminaires, anyone will think it as a warehouse.
two people interviewed me, one is the director (i don't know at that time). the things they asked are related to what i did for my old job! what did you do? what kind of products did you test? how to test? how much did you test? how did you define which part to be tested with which part of standard? what material can withstand glow-wire test?... a question they asked are interesting. any seminar set up by your old company to tell their customers about the changes of the new standards? oh, none.
after that they talked about their products range, whether willing to travel to mainland for their factory, R&D, and seminar... then they talked about they can pay my requested salary, the 1st year is in contract base. there should be 13th month salary (without a break for their company history) but not written in b&w... need to work 5 & 1/2 days a week while there's a one free weekend in each month. need to work from 8:15/8:45 to 5:15 to 5:45.
finally they asked me to wait for their call.
i went back home and changed my clothes and joined mom and her workmates to have buffets at the spice market. obviously i'm the dull guy of the day.
tommorrow i'm gonna go to another company to have an interview.
P.S. muji silvercord is gonna shut down after sept 9th.

east kowloon
i was lazy at home and i heard a lego exhibition in town now. so i went today. but first is to help my sister to borrow a book from neaby public library because her card was lost. in addition, i changed the address record which i should be done two years ago. then i stepped into the mtr to tseung kwan o for the exhibition.
around an hour, i reached the site and what i wanna say is shit. it's so damned small. but i soon forgive it as the lego hk limited wasted their resources on rentin' the place in comic exhibition (i don't think that is a good place to promote lego). and only the interested party built their own stuff to show their passion (i think i have a bit of passion!). the shoppin' mall the exhibition situated is small and not with many people there. many locals were goin' to a better one which was my next stop.
apm is the latest big mall in hk. i rushed in after few months the shops were doin' their business. the atmosphere is a bit better than langham place and also target on teens parents use money to compensate their lack of care. what i only got is a very good condition book (2001 uk edition) there.
P.S. check my flickr for today stuff

comment on "Flickr and Yahoo! IDs, redux" from flickr blog
"... For example, we will have a payment system that won't require you to use PayPal..."
i don't pay flickr to get a pro account but i think patpal is cool, the most common one yet.
"Q: OMG, it is really annoying to have to log in to Yahoo over and over many times a day just to get my Flickr fix! [This is not a question.] Uh ... isn't it annoying?!!?"
that's what i hate!
"A: Yes, it really, truly is. It's enough to drive one batty. And it's a bug. And a fix will be out soon. It's taken a while, but for security reasons we couldn't do the quick fix here. Just be patient for one more week :)
Or, you know, if you merged your Flickr.com and your Yahoo! ID and it is driving you crazy, then we'll unmerge your account. All you have to do is write to us (read the announcement from last week for details). You'll still have to re-merge it later, but by then things will be muuuuuch smoother."
"Q: OK, fine. New users can use Yahoo! IDs, but I don't have one and don't want one — why should I have to merge?
A: You don't for now. Some time in 2006 you will... "
i cannot wait so i unmerge. but still have to re-merge? let's see in 2006

just make a mistake to merge my flcikr account into yahoo account. it's very trouble that i need to log in everytime (not several hours later!). just asked them to unmerge.
anyone wanna unmerge just go to here (hurry up, only available for a short period) (update: it works!)
although flickr's still in beta, this merge i think is in alpha stage only

why hk is losing
thx the chinese communists.
how could this happen in civilizated world with no regrets? thats' why hk is losing due to the bad habits of the ruling class. that's why people still remember the best in colonial ages. that's why makes hk difference from other chinese societies (except singapore).

a one-day trip to guangzhou
yesterday woke up at 6am (only slept 5 hours). took breakfast near mtr station. then got on a bus to shatin to join aunt to go to mainland. why? took a lunch with grandma. it's not lucky to tell why to take lunch together as aunt said. standed on the ground of shenzhen at around 9am. finding there changed a lot because of the start of subway there. quickly bought tickets and got on the train. on the trip, my aunt told us how terrible the thefts are and she's so afraid that she wanna sell her house near guangzhou.
only one midway stop, we arrived guangzhou just more that an hour. we told the taxis to go to the elderly house where grandma's livin'. taxis? first one we wanna take was driven by a foreign province who didn't know the address. second one knew the way but used the wrong way! petrol is limited in mainland because oil companies cannot raise prices without the approval of the government. so when there were news sayin' petorl is in town, lots of drivers are just queueing outside the gas stations. but the bad habits of chinese flow out again here. the queue blocked the road and no police there. so there is a jam on two ways traffic! yes, not one way. the drivers just crossed the double line to another way to pass thru the jam. if the other way has no cars, that's fine. but the world is not easy for you. so we were in the jam and no one stopped cars coming. finally we walked away from the trap and found another taxi to the destination.
grandma's health is continuously decaying and she cannot walk too far from the home. we took a lunch at the nearby restaurant. it shared the name as a hk brand named restaurant but they should have no relationship. their chef sucks as usual. each time the steamed fish is still fresh when it comes to our table and we need to blame them again.
after the meal, we took the taxi to the station and bought the tickets to shenzhen. this time the train is a bit cool. it's the first mainland-built high speed train, blue arrow. simialr to the trip eariler, it stops at a midway station in the journey. finally the time we arrived at shatin was around 4pm.

sony finally shows their steps
why do they stop developing pda? but not mp3 players or mobile phones yet?
their PSP now provides the functions of pda, & portable multimedia player (pmp) with original game console function. so they don't need to produce those three types of product. the cost reduced. the market has a bright future.
but not all people wanna have a such large stuff yet. so mp3 players are still workable. but i think the life can be seen. so ipod will soon have more functions. another market of mp3 players market is small size which yet to be replaced by integrated stuff. from the experience of n-gage, mobile phone cannot make so console alike. maybe few years later when 3/4g really become dominant, then phone + console is a cool idea.

last week
last week in cmatcl was a bit boring. doing some sorts of supporting lab tests were my major jobs. and then was cleaning up the drawers and packing up the stuff. got some free meals for me. my supervisor's told me how i should get improved: self-confidence; direct speaking and writting if i still wanna work as an engineer; not doing something not related but helpful; some thinking before shout out... i've so many weaknesses
finally gave back my staff id card, medical cards and did some paper work with hr staff. no more queuing for bus and mini bus (damned this summer so many using the public transport made me late for a few times) on workdays to there anymore.

so many to join the gathering after ball's back for birthday for man wai and 7c. many talking about studying financial courses. i agree we need to improve our financial skills to prevent being poor. but i don't think their ways are suitable for me. i want to be one using service instead of providing service. but it's a long way to go and still needs to provide service for a period of time.

last saturday
could not leave earlier because need to reconfirm a light chain previously failed with another sample by lamp bridging test (EN60598-2-20 Clause 20.12.3) from a quite troublesome french supplier. It took me over nine hours before it's dead. so i got extra four hours OT salary. thx a free lunch and my supervisor told me i knew too few about the company politics and the bad side of the real world which i cannot say anything to stop him. before going back home bought another mouse since the one bought a year ago cannot function well.

fight against before leave
as i said on last post. i did the tests of light chain and today the guy for LNE-Asia came up and asked me to show where the ball pressure test failed. even with the support of two workmates, i were still got fightened. nearly i sliped out something i should not tell out of my mouth. but seems the challege has passed for a moment. let me see how the respond from my head (he's away at that moment) when the guy found him tommorrow (i truly think the guy is going to)

two more weeks to go
after that i'm free again! but too early they are to stop laying job to me. what still in my hand is a light chain for LNE-Asia. and a hair dryer/curler for VDE. then what i'm gonna do is to "teach" (should be shareing) the stuff i know in luminaire testing to everyone. so i'll be so free in the coming two weeks?
faked stuff
do you waste money to buy genuine handbags or wallets from Gucci, LV... as many office ladies do in hk? or just buying similar faked products? our german gives a good answer, faked. why? he thought they will be damaged in a few years time but not like Rolex which can give to offsprings with price gaining. then i asked how about your wife's feeling? he said she does think the same as him and is using the faked one bought in shenzhen...

comparison: sinapore airlines
people always compare everything. let me do some stuff for what i think in the journey. first is the airline companies i've used the serivces:
overall quality: cathay pacific (cx) (2000) >= sinapore airlines (sq) (2005) > qantas (qf) (2000). there's even a pee smell from qf's 747-200.
plane: cx > sq > qf. cx and qf both used 747s for the flight but sq only used 777-200. but qf's 747-200 sucks (must better than china airlines). the flight to singapore nearly made the plane full in capacity (because of the holiday) but very few when we came back.
seat: cx >= sq > qf. cx has lcd display on economic class for every seat in 2000 but not in qf. qf's seat didn't have enough space for me to put on feet without hitting the seat in front.
food: basically no big difference on the economic class level. but i wanna thank you the catering sevice here this time (should be this one) because it provides Häagen-Dazs ice cream when we went to singapore.
servants: no big difference. but the uniform of the sq is not favourite for ladies. too big neck opening...
pilots: ca = sq > qf. the landing of qf is not good, just like hitting rally car hitting on the ground

security device for online banking
hk monetary authority requested banks to improve online banking security. some implement e-cert. but hsbc is using another approach, i.e. security device. i've got one earlier than others since i used its service to do danagerous decisions (buying stocks).
it looks like a little key chain which will generate a 6-digit code everytime when you log in the system. but how the system works? if easy to know, then easy to crack. will we be safe to use? and it's easy to get lost because of the design. we need to pay $100 to get another one back except battery going out.

RTHK
Should RTHK follow the style of BBC? or just behave as a mouth of government?
government official and new chief executive said they don't want rthk to waste taxes to compete the private radios stations. but those programmes they mentioned are representive and have good reputuations. and even i love some programmes even other are going downwards. as a hong konger, i don't like rthk to become what officials like.

live at brixton academy
on the public holiday of handover, finally finished watching dido's oncert on dvd (did something british on former british soil). my review (based on my old crt tv system - only dolby stereo 2.0 used):
- simple (only play; songs selection; & audio options in menu)
- plain (one clothes on 3 days concert? - even the musicians)
- at beginning, seems she didn't have enough preparation so i don't like the way she performed here with me. but afterwards i found she may wanna show there's a difference between album and live. so quite different tone used in different songs. some lower, some higher. and a lot more musicial equipments used
- every concert needs an encore section? seems every artists like their fans to call them back from the stage at the near end of the concert.
- i love the layout of the case anyway but it's not convenient to take the discs out.
anyway i like the set and any chance to come to asia (except japan) to perform in concerts?

7242
i'm too busy these few weeks. one of the reasons is the hardworker is taking a leave to germany to meet her boyfriend who has just finished training there. another i think is to stop me to find another job. but last week bought some stuff and wanna talk about them one by one
1st is 7242, the third generation of the street sweeper of that size from lego. compared to 6645 and 6649. it has a figure less than 6645 but the design is more similar than 6649. however i think 6649 is the worst in these three. because of a less figure, poor design. 7242 uses the latest of lego bricks to enhance the outlook, and new painting on the figure. but a thing not really like is that the sucker cannot be well positioned because of the tube...
another bought is live at brixton academy dvd by dido but not yet have time to watch the full.

brief of my trip - day 3
after two days of excitement, the last day was a bit dull. ball was busy that day so we did not bother him anyway. same as the day before, woke up around 9 and took the similar buffet breakfast at hotel's coffee shop.
with the suggestion of ball, we took mrt to little india with our luggage stayed at ground floor of hotel after checked out. after raining the night before, the sky was blue and the ground was extermely hot. even the view is especially good, and we wanna stay a bit longer, the weather beat us. so we took mrt to the next stop, china town again.
this time we nearly walked thru the town and ate braised shark's fin abalone & sea cucumber thick soup at tam kah shark's rin restaurant. and also bought some stuff there. we handed around the town and nearby building, got away my air alpha force, sat nearby when exhausted.
finally back to hotel and waited the shuttle bus to pick us to the airport. some northen europeans and two more hkers went ahead to the airport. checked in and walked around the mall. a bit trouble before the gate and stepped on the plane.
took off and hit the rain cloud nearby (not rain yet that time in singapore). sooner or later we took the supper and the light went off to force us to sleep. three hours and more, we were on the sky of hongkong, looking down we could see shatin, shing mum tunnel, our building complex (i know why we can hear and see planes so easily) and sticked into the clouds and clouds. finally landed and needed 10 min to taxi to the terminal. need a bit of time to get the luggage and took the bus. at home, family were watching tvb broadcasting star wars series.

ER the computer game
tried a bit on it. act as a newbie to learn and finish the assignments. need quite long time to finish a shift. just different from theme hospital. you act as an owner there. it's still the right time to punish the game even the show is declining... and noah wyle who acts as dr. john carter has left the show. it's the final time to get more except dvds (i think i will buy season 6 to trace back the one i missed, the one min return of george clooney because of plane delay) before the show is finally cut.
btw it's showing my computer lack of space and need to upgrade.

senior centre
recently someone began a campaign to stop converting the empty shops to senior centre at the ground floor of our building complex. here's some background information: elderly population is increasing. our complex location is far from nearby estates (10 min silent walk which is tough for hkers). only two thousands more to live here. so those shops are empty right now. to fully use the facilities, to convert them to senior centre is one of the possible choices. but what we need is a good management since elderly may not beahve in a proper way.

brief of my trip - day 2
after day 1. we woke up at 9:xx because the free breakfast provided was ended at 10:30. in real world, free stuff is not good. after breakfast. we started our journey again. this time we only walked to newton station and took mrt to the next station, orchard. we went to another shopping mall. that one is owned by run run shaw. and nearby are department stores mainly by marks & spencer and istean. after hanging around and met ball at china town. took tea at chinese restaurant and then went to the cable car station to go to sentosa.
1st we got off. bought a fan and cable car arrival centre but lost it (i think at sky tower). we spent some time at merlion (not the same as in raffle). saw some stuff in cinemania and sat on the shuttle bus to have a brief look of the beaches. bought some stuff and left.
back to orchard road and took the award winning chicken rice, and bak kut teh at chatterbox coffeehouse in meritus mandarin singapore hotel. it's the most expensive meal there. but it's very good.
ball then went to meet his friends at a bar but it's time for us to go back. luckily the big rain (much larger than amber warning in hk) didn't block us to back hotel with the cab.

xerox machine 's technican
on 1st day of this month, the technican came to have the check and clean service. (once or twice a year here but every month for cityu's library). i think they are much better than me. 1st everyone hurrys to use the machine again but they don't care. they just follow the sequence to work even under such pressure. 2nd is my main weak point comparing with. i.e. don't look around and attach to the things unrelated. i hear the voice and i will look at that way if i'm not very concentrated (pressurized) on the job. too bad i am.

hk's weather
a bit more tropical than before in this year
- y: more rains, large and sudden. in the past, only smaller rain happened
- n: sky's cloudy. not much sunshine even after a long period of rain!
new route
tried a new route to go back home:
took minibus to tsuen wan. then went to kwai hing by mtr and went back home by bus from mtr station.
time: 1hr 20 min. longer than normal coz queuing for the mini and the bus.
fare: more expensive
motive to try: if having attractive stuff, i will try...

brief of my trip - day 1
took singapore airlines on friday morning. lunch with häagen-dazs icecream. cool. arrived around 2. but wasted time to find where to take the shuttle bus and gone to hotel royal around 4. laid down luggages and did a little rest. but too noisy so that left there an hour later. walked thru newton food market to orchard shopping area. gone to a old style arcade. then walked a bit more and went to joint ball at business zone, raffles place by mrt. took some pix at merlion park & esplanade. then took dinner at a chinese restaurant in espalnade. with a special dish not found here, coffee ribs. after that we took a taxi with a talkative driver to night safari. took the tram to have a brief look of the whole zoo. we missed the show! and we went back to hotel.
(sorry for late post. too busy, tired on personal issues, like my poor skin. i cannot go anywhere for the skin condition right now. later will post day 2 and 3 and also how i feel about different things, i.e. airlines, hotels...)

anything more before leaving hk?
- my half-supervisor told me his near to blind experience of luminaire. a bit frightened.
- good to hear one of my favourite radio programs getting extended airtime
- computer seems to be gonna step into hell
- dad finally returned my money for his construction fee
- my watch has lost! (found back.)
- i hate my skin!!!
- those exchange rate in exchange shops are vary a lot. not easy to choose a good one to do the exchange.
- (forgot to type before leave). saw secondary headmaster (who should have his own car) to take mtr to tst. but don't know what he's done for.

it's rain time
the big rain finally started from yesterday. the clouds took the sky for over a month with only little drops. they hid the sunshine, made everything grey. finally they're too heavy and need to drop a lot of weight. how long? only heaven knows. when they're gone.
now: thunder only happens when it's raining (dreams from fleetwood mac)

1st ride on ma on shan rail
took minibus from work to ma on shan to see another chinese doctor for my skin. after that had a try on ma on shan rail. the rail shows a thing happening in hk: mainlandlization. the station design is a bit chinese (stairs); the direction the rail operates does not follow traditional in uk's ex-colony. the trains are mini of east/west rail, only 4 sections. the interior is just the same. most stations are too close to each other so that the train cannot get full speed before slowing down (especially in ma on shan area). the buildings are too close and the barriers are not high and covered enough. so any mad can show up to the passengers easily! not good to live nearby as the nosuie should make their life hard to live. che kung temple station just likes a tomb. especially when first coming to those preparing for further extensions (5 or 6 sections for a train). time to spend is not long but not convenience to take east rail at tai wai station. but hard to modify furthermore as the tai wai station was still in operate during the construction of the ma on shan rail.

does hk have enough culture?
watched two tv programs like 60 min before final of 大長今. one is pearl report talking about english literacy in hk. 2nd is done by ivan's sister about music industry in hk. both telling culture in hk is still far from beyond evemn government wanna build a venue for culture on west kowloon reclamation. but this can only fix the hardware but not people's mind: money and money. not much hope for majority to support more sinoanglo cultural development in a deversity place.

a week hard to pass thru
first of all i agree my colleagues feeling on me. working too slow. this is one of the reasons making me feel hard to pass thru every week. but i still cannot work too fast. otherwise i must do wrongly...
second is planning. i have a quite brief planning but cannot fulfill. three reasons for that: working too slow; requesting from customer but not told me until quite last minutes (they said they have given me those not hurrying job but always with some sudden requesting); lots of small jobs inserted.
and i'm the only guy to test luminaires (every kind of lamp products). so when luminaire samples came. my workload increased a lot & at the same time i need to do other testing for household products.
so everyday needed to work at least 11.5 hrs.
bad temper. bad skin. bad sleep

swam just next to my home. the water is a bit warmer than i thought. not many people swimming because the weather is going worse and it's not hot enough to push people to stay cool. really swam a lot just after half year gap not swimming.
2 good songs:
Sitting, Waiting, Wishing by Jack Johnson
The Power of Orange Knickers by Tori Amos (feat. Damien Rice)

i really hate my job. especially working on saturday! 1st is not all need to come back but i am the one coming back most often on every sat. 2nd is workload mostly doubled on sat because many jobs suddenly come out on that day! 3rd is cannot leave exactly 1pm. too much damn stuff are needed to handle.
only thing i need to do is to work just after a year and kick myself out.
cannot find what milk said in citysuper. the sales said it's in causewaybay store. oh shit. so far. need to plan to go there next time. hopefully today i can go swimming.

what had done in last week? ot, bleeding, & flu
everyday needs to have over 3 hrs ot. y? spanish asshole sent us many to do inspection. each needed to be finished within 3 days from the time we received the samples. nearly everything could not be done.
this job is dangerous. this week hurt my fingers again and again. medic!!!
since working, my body is weaker and weaker. everytime i can survive the wave in season (from my family - especially from not self-care dad). then 2nd wave kicks my ass (poor air-con in school library, now is from sicking colleagues). and my illness becomes heavier & heavier. fever & fever... tired. don't type now

luck?
1st time to sit on a bus borken down on the way on thu morning. after leaving a bus stop, gearbox got wrong and the bus moved in a very slow way even the driver pushed the gas in full. he wanna move the bus the next stop but failed. luckily another bus going to shatin has come so that i didn't become late for work.
going upstairs to work is not easy. it takes me energy. nearly everyday need to drink a can of coffee to work. speed is essential but also decision making for many things. very tired! but did learn some useful
a liner is now at container pier! yes, container pier. with a pix for proof.

a bit of lucky
played billard after singing karaoke with sec mates at tsuen wan on sat. so damn little lucky to kick balls into holes just with unimaginble reflections. after that they played mah-jongg and winning eleven 8 at dicky's home and i played dynasty warriors 4 & gt4 with his new ps2, also aa & online there. but lastly i watched 公主復仇記 in vcd format. what i wanna say is so clever the writer is.

from last post
something should be written down on last post but forgotten. 1st is killing the fan with using gold-wire stuff. it fails even we used tricks learnt from our german colleague. and it hurt me! 2nd is my sister replaces her mp3 player from old-aged one to ipod photo 30GB. she paid HK$2000 and my mom paid the remain. so rich she is!
yesterday finally kicked the fan and i will not care it until retest if i'm still here. but i'm gonnabe very hurry for the light chains and need to finish them before the end of month. So hard days coming after easter. jesus please save me! in this easter i'm very bored. a bored man with no activities. gonnabe dusty
today fixing my leg (i think this problem is from the human body design. why get away tail?) then bought 2 books again and found out a failed product done by my colleague (i may need to type a blog to describe them. lol) being sold on GOD. how much is it? HK$8xx. it's cheap stuff and not worthy for that. bought a cup of new coffee from starbucks when back home.

don't moan or bitch too much
ball said that yesterday after we talked. somewhat i did do too much.
so today 1st to be notified to get up to get trained on household stuff on next 2 weeks. 2 weeks? can i do that so quick? i think i'm too slow. how to get faster?
wasted too mcuh time on material test of my little fan (prepartion and killin' that). clsoe to the end of my little fan. and 2 more bridging but needed to use some tricks on last one so that didn't leave tooo late.
hopefully tomorrow can get away the fan and finish a large part of filling paper for one of the chains and to start a normal operation temperature rise measurement of LED nightlight

1st to short the motor operating capacitor. so the fan smoky and exploded. really a shock! why i should so a damn dangerous job to do? but it's good that no need to copy the data as the motor has been down. thought finished the temperature measurement of light chains, what the hell is not. there is a bridging function (if one fails, other lamps are still on) and i need to do it one by one to check whether it's safe or not! after finising one of it and moving it to the sideway, my thumb was got hurt by a broken lamp (color of lamp and artifical grass are so damn close!). but no one cared. other stuff done today was mainly cleaning up fan stuff & fan stuff (but still lots of it). some pressure felt to start a new led nightlight and workaholic wanted me to help her to do a coffee maker. she's too damn loving this job (why on earth having this kind of people. the business is not yours and company can kick your ass out as easy as possible. DO SOMETHING FOR YOURSELF) and missed friends gathering orginially at 6:30 (she left at 8!). on the bus, saw roadshow playing a program promoting digital stuff and found one of the adcs classmates as a presenter! his loving lips and eyes showing loading his memory is funny. he has a much better look than the old guy!

plain but in a city so dead
nearly cannot find right clothes to back work & missed the last bus. met the colleague in the bus and continuing blaming our company. lol. got a can of coffee to flush me up. another colleague said saw me in causewaybay on sat and asked me about the hair cut. omg. my eye-sight is so bad and i need to tune my glasses again? anyway he is not so attractive to be seen and her girl friend is in little size. and anyone walked besides me and i didn't find you out please don't blame me!!! 1st to do was to water the santa claus' car using non-standard stuff. but anyway same as the deers, it failed the electric strength test (too prevent the current flowing to non-live parts). the put it to the tempature rise test. began to replace the failure fan. so fast, my lunch time came. so stupid to order a mini-pizza. expensive & too damn small. but others taught me how to feel full with coke. haha.
afternoon i think now was wasting my time and luck was turning down. did much minor stuff but actually nothing has been done. really forgot what i've done that time now. but those things made me not leave early. more bad luck when leaving. saw no one waiting 47x, so i went to wait 48x. but after getting on 48x, saw a 47x coming in front and flew away. so damn slow was the driver. just wanna fxxk him! used so much time to back home and my shuffle played whole no angel & 4th song of life for rent (i.e. life for rent). but something good to know poirot will be shown on atv world on coming sunday 9:00pm. it's five little pigs (not yet seen the book since it's published in war-time and i still stick before that period).

pig
today didn't go out. like a pig laying inside the home. surfin' the web; searchin' jobs; playing computer games; watching tv; putting songs to shuffle; reading; & the most important sleeping like a pig for around two hrs in the afternoon!
just the news report talking about some youths in hk being a pig just like japs. no work, no study. only eat & sleep. someone should kick their ass to make them move!
before sleep last night. listening the radio and heard something a bit abnormal. a man wanna chase a girl and the girl allows him to take her hand & kiss her face but not her lips. so the man doesn't know what should be gonna do and asked djs. i only think it's funny

hair cut
today was rather free even at work. no supervisor because of training something like "how to deal with asshole customer" (i may need to learn how to deal with every asshole stuff). just burnt a fan motor for abnormal test. checked it to prevent touching movable parts. and did a temp rise measurement for light chains. and work never ends. few new stuff came but not yet start to kill them. but not doing that may harm everybody. just like one of my partners is doing a portable clothes dryer which has been already chosen by a credit card company as a promotion product!
took an expensive lunch at seiyu. then to causewaybay to find hair stylest to fix my hair. but too busy to care me. i need to walk for 2 hrs on streets. 1st to sogo to have a look for ivan's levi's store. he's care to his business. while chuen as a part time was not in mood. he will start to work again on monday so he wanna take a break on sunday and asked me to replace him. nah to him of course. i did wanna buy some stuff there to win tickets for avril lavigne's court on coming friday. but no one would wanna see with me so i forgot it. then to victoria's park and found not many playing model ships. took another expensive meal at park's kiosk (not so good service to all kind of people). and walked nearby for a few moment before having the hair cut. quite fast and i fell asleep. to citysuper again and buy weak flour for mom. it's put at chinese /asian food instead of baking stuff.
saw some celebrities today, two artists and one writer. 1st is a tvb female artist when i came to sogo. she was having heavy make-up and saying bye to her mom? when i left citysuper i met tao jie. looked like just woke up, he was searching something there (lady - that's me or his family). he's around 5' 10" high. last is an atv female artist at mtr station. she should be going to the party

more on chains
those chains are in plastic grass with iron skeleton using low voltage provided by an transformer. can go outside so i need to test with this feature. one word: trouble. size too big so that cannot fulfill the standard (our lab is trying to be a cb lab with help of our partner).
those ive students came to do fyp again. and our boss (a talk ass) waited their time to sell our lab hardly. shit!

christian related
happy st. patty day everyone. but not me! lonely & need to work hardly. the loyal workaolic thinks every taking sick leave is finding another job... crazy! just finished retests of old customer's luminaire (not stable quality. don't buy them!). doing 2 more.
1st is box fan. just gave us god damned new synchronous motor and i need to take out the old one and replace just because the movable guard is too big! they just do too much. not just renew the guard, but also the motor and i need to do all stuff again!
2nd one is from our big boss. some christmas light chains with 3 different style deers and one santa claus sitting on the deer car. too damn big to put into our equipment. but seems a bit easier to do than fan.
60335 should the troublest standard on earth. so many tests with tough requirement from supervisors and our partners (french & german) but can only get very few money back. what the hell that nearly every household products are guarded by it. so safety testing must rely on related jobs mainly. life is much easier for emc. 20 jobs per day can be done for a small lab. 1 job can be done in 20 days at our side is pretty good.

and finally...
after the blog below, updated software (why always have updates every week?). took a short nap when tired (too early woke up but late sleep last night). played the game for a while (get respected as a clan member ) then went to see doctor to fix me (too weak i am). took some food nearby after that. took MTR to causeway bay. first to renewed citysuper. it expands by kicking pageone to 9th floor of the same building (i will talk about it later on). finally finds garlic butter from new zealand and just bought it without any hesitation!!! and from a separate bakery but inside the supermarket area used over a half hundred to buy four breads. three are just simple but and one is donut. it is smallest pageone in hk yet until phase 2 finished in may but the design makes you think they won't sell books to normal people anymore. had a trip on the tram to central. very crowded so cannot take some photos on this sunny day. camera was finally useful on the ferry. the view was cool and the wind was cold.~ some pix are posted here and then back home.
thx god to make sunday the rest day (should be saturday, but other religion affected christians - i forget the source). stay away crappy work; listening lovely songs from shuffle; reading books (finished part one of chinese version rich dad and the abc murders nearly); & watching people behaviour. all these make my soul relaxed (but not my body). but tonight i still need to waste my energy for job hunting.

...
3 more lego bricks from mom. cos of some stuff of her working place, she got them easily
a foreigner got a shuffle and we were looking eye to eye each other in shatin...
one thing needed to complain: you need to have the songs in your computer when you connect the shuffle. otherwise all songs are gone...

after first day
after first day, damn things come
ot, ot, ot. due to poor management, those samples are already received over a month and nothing has been done. finally finds me, a n00b on that test to do it in a hurry. what the fuck!!! i'm gonna break down. this job needs both physical and mental energy and makes me tired everyday with so much ot. salary is not high and ot wage has been cut a lot. and finish the annual review. they said they have a high expectation but a bit not fully understand to teach people. this is because i learn only for the job, not for life. but i will learn a bit more than before leave if i'm happy at that moment.
my ipod shuffle is on the way. but i may need a cover to protect it. i've got some funny ideas about covers. ask me. (but there is something similar in the market...)

year of rooster
this is the third year of rooster after birth. first was my year of birth. second was the first year in secondary (last year in primary).
last day in the year of monkey, only needed to work half day. then went to tsimshashui. asked one of the apple centers and still needed to pre-order ipod shuffle if wants to pay the official price. i'm still thinking to buy or not... bought the genuine rome total war for a cheaper price. stayed at home for the night. slept around 1:30.
woke up near 8 this morning. took breakfast with mom. and bought a cup of coffee from starbucks and back home. got a surprise phone call and someone has come back for a week!!!

mistakes
i hate mistakes but i'm not a careful guy. what can i do to work in a safety lab? not hurt me only (luckily not yet to go to the hospital), but my supervisor need to take my bad... not good to work in this industry?
P.S. first red pocket money from our german colleague

dinner for wests
yesterday morning i ought to be at home but still needed to work with a tired body so that minor mistakes occured. damn those workaholics, their life nearly is only work and sleep. please go to hell!!! the company sets a impossible target on a sliding market, even those workaholics felt tough...; their salary is lower than average in the business; our supervisor is not an easy-going guy; they cannot enjoy all the annual leaves they are allowed; and the most important thing is that is not their business!!! they get no shares. it's not worth for them to work so damn tough.

dunk lows & poop
dunk lows in my home are in bad luck. the one worn by my sister got pooh when she just bought and wore them in macau... too much poop outside my workplace as garages are on the opposite side and they love having dogs as guards but not teaching them to behave right. when i was going to take lunch yesterday. big fresh poop was not found out and i stepped on it... damn. i need to wash it when went back to workplace...
annual dinner for my team was on that night at mong kok's 譚魚頭. why the hell they like hot-pot so much? already started late for waiting my partner finishing his lessons. and too damn many were there already so that served us slowly. i went late back home and feel very tired.
